Century Check-In Team Information
General
- Registration will be at Creston Elementary School or Morro Bay High School
- Setup consists of setting up tables and get volunteers signed into Pinwheel.
- EVERY RIDER must provide photo ID.
- MINOR RIDERS must fill out and have a parent sign a printed Century Waiver.
- Ask riders that preordered clothing if they received their clothing.
- Check the rider in using Pinwheel.
- Give every rider a printed information sheet.
- Give each rider their food Wristband.
- Give each rider a Helmet number.
- Give each rider their route sheet. Remind riders of their routes' recommended starting time, Highway Cautions and Safe Cycling Practices published on the route slips – Part of our agreement with CalTrans. Provide different route sheet if they want to change their route.
Friday Night
- Have Registration supplies delivered to the Volunteer meeting or the approproate school
- Be at Creston Elementary School no later than 4:30 PM. Our official hours are 5 PM to 8 PM
- Be at Morro Bay High School no later than 4:30 PM. Our official hours are 5 PM to 8 PM
- Captain will bring water and cups
- Count number that checked in on Friday night
- Volunteers will go to the Spaggetti Feed in Creston for the Wildflower. Pizza for volunters will be ordered at 5pm for the Lighthouse
- We will leave the stuff inside the school
Saturday Morning
- Be at Morro Bay High School or Creston Elementary School no later than 6:15 AM
- Our official hours are 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
- Have someone get coffee from Starbucks and bring it to the school
- The setup should be (mostly) done from the night before
- Total up number of "no-shows"
- There will be donuts, bagels and coffee
